Tindall Vineyards Pinot Noir 2008

Availability: Out of stock

Quick Overview

Tindall Vineyard is a family owned property in the heart of the Marlborough region. Tindall Vineyards Pinot Noir 2008 is softly structured with aromas of cranberry, plum and red cherry with that slight leafiness that comes with a good Pinot Noir. The fruit follows on through to the palate where it balances with good acidity and soft tannins to give great structure and good depth of flavour. There is a good length on the velvety finish.

Tindall Vineyard is a family owned property in the heart of the Marlborough region. Produced from one of the few close planted vineyards in Marlborough. This is a wonderfully fragrant Pinot Noir, full of ripe cherries and red berries together with just a hint of spice. The fruit concentration on the palate is deep and has added texture and some spicy influence of oak. It has good body, great balance, intense fruit and has a good lingering finish. All this is brought about by careful attention to detail by the winemaker. The fruit was cold macerated and fermented on the skins to give depth of colour. It was then pressed and kept in stainless steel. Working the grapes in this way intensifies the fruit characters of the wine. The malolactic fermentation and oak ageing have the effect of adding both complexity and structure to the fruit and the finished wine.
