The producer of this wine is Giacomo Montresor - a long established Veronese family company now headed up by Giorgio Montresor. The 100hectares of vines are in Valpolicella and Garda from where the grapes are harvested by hand at the end of October. These late harvested grapes are then dried for 4 months and then crushed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel for another 4 months follwed by maturation in Slavonian oak casks and small barrels for 2 years.
