We use a courier service to deliver our wines to the British Mainland. We only ship within mainland UK. Delivery is normally made within 7 working days of receipt of order. If we cannot deliver within 30 days of receipt of your order we will inform you immediately and agree another time for delivery. Should we fail to agree, we will offer you a complete refund.
The charges for this service are outlined below. Please note that 1 case = 12 bottles of wine. A surcharge will apply for certain postcodes, mainly the Scottish Highlands. Delivery is charged at £7.80 for the first case and increases incremently for each subsequent case or part thereof.
Please ensure the correct address is provided and recipients are able to accept deliveries. Refused and failed deliveries will be returned back to Smithfield Wine at a cost of £14.50 payable by the buyer. If no-one is available to receive the goods our carrier will notify the recipient of the attempted delivery with a "Card" placed through the letter box. If the items are not claimed within 5 days they will be returned to Smithfield Wine at a cost of £14.50 payable by the buyer.
We offer a FREE personal wine delivery service to customers within a 25 mile radius of Central Manchester ( minimum order of 12 bottles).

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
We process credit/debit card orders using SSL technology via a secure server. Orders are processed manually by ourselves NOT by a third party clearing house. For your security, customer details are NOT stored on a database that can be accessed from the Internet. When you reach the stage in the ordering process where you are required to enter your card details, you will automatically be redirected to a page on a secure server. A golden padlock will appear on your browser, indicating that it is safe to proceed.
If you are still uneasy about giving your credit card details over the Internet we would be happy to accept your order by phone, fax or in person. We also accept payments by cash or cheque.

Smithfield Consulting Ltd. do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
