Foxwood Bruno's Block Chardonnay 2006
Golden coloured, with rich aromas of fully ripened fruit and slight oaky overtones. The palate brings a combination of melon and peach flavours from the beautifully ripened summer berries. The oak is a subtle background influence to these delicious fruit flavours, the result of marvellous vintage conditions in 2006.

Foxwood Dawn Picked Viognier 2006
New to the Languedoc region, Viognier has an exciting future. Straw in colour but with a touch of gold; tropical fruits and floral flavours dominate the palate with some subtle underlying melon characters. A crisp and refreshing light acidity balances the intense fruit characters.

Dom. de la Garelle, Cote du Luberon Cuvee Pere Antoine Rouge 2001
This cuvee has a fine garnet colour with purple depths. The nose is complex and the scents come through in a particular order. First, red fruit with very faint animal overtones, then flowers, most strikingly violets with a resinous cypress tang. This is followed by dried fruits, vanilla and a touch of pepper. It is very round in the mouth and has a long smokey finish. It is ready to drink now but will improve over another 10 years.

Chateau Coujan AOC Saint Chinian Gabrielle de Spinola 2004
It is hard to imagine, when standing on the chalk hills of Château Coujan, 140m above sea level, that they were once an old coral area of the Mediterranean. The soil structure coupled with owner Florence Guy's passion, certainly explain the quality of the wines. While her husband works as an architect, Florence runs these beautiful vineyards, which were established by her father way back in 1967. A picture book setting, which even boasts its own 17th Century chapel, this is the kind of place that makes one consider giving up the day job and becoming a winemaker.
A blend of classic southern French grape varieties produces a wonderfully rich and full wine with a deep colour and aromas of dark berry fruits with hints of spices. Soft tannins, a good length and great finesse give this wine a classy feel. Try it - we feel sure you will love it.
