Curious Grape Aromatic
Made principally from the Seyval Blanc grape variety with some added Ortega and Reichensteiner. Most English wines are light and delicate and can easily be overpowered by the use of oak. In this blend, oak has been used with a very light touch - just enough to add an extra complexity to the wine.It is a crisp, clean wine - the colour of pale straw. The aromas and palate are those of pineapple, citrus and cream with a hint of vanilla from the oak. It has just the right touch of acidity to make it a wine for drinking with food or on its own.Drink instead of Chardonnay on any occasion.

Chapel Down Bacchus 2006
Made from 100% Bacchus grape variety this wine has won a number of accolades from wine writers and industry specialists alike. The grapes are picked early to retain their intense and distinctive flavours. Whole bunch pressed and fermented in stainless steel it remains on the lees for 3 months to maximise flavour. There are lots of fruit aromas and it is a wonderful crisp yet aromatic wine. You will find nettles, citrus, blackcurrant and ginger combining to produce a racy up front wine.Selected as a 'must try' wine by Matthew Jukes in Woman & Home and one of the top 10 white wines for under £10 by Anthony Rose in The Independent. If you like Sancerre or New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc you should try this one.
