Bright and elegant yellow-green colour. Fruity and aromatic with fresh floral grapey notes. Reminiscent of roses. Fresh, young and lightly fruity, a flavoursome palate that matches the nose. Good balance and body. Well defined varietal.

Septima Cabernet Sauvignon 2000/1
Simply a quite stunning Cabernet Sauvignon for the price. It has all the blackcurrant fruitiness up front but with none of the harsh tannins sometimes apparent with this grape variety - particularly in South America. Then you get the complex and subtle oakiness on the palate with an excellent length. The Septima winery is located in Agrelo at the foot of the Andes mountains but still at 1000 metres above sea level. Extensive investment in the latest irrigation technology enables the winemaker, Ruben Calvo to produce this excellent wine.
