Coming from the cooler climate of Tasmania Tamar Ridge Kayena Sauvignon Blanc is a classic Sauvignon Blanc - full of aromas and tastes of gooseberry, citrus and elderflower. Unlike some of the New Zealand Sauvignons this one has a little more subtlety and complexity more akin to a Sancerre. A good wine for drinking with food as the flavours will complement the food rather than overpower. A grown-up SB!
