Full, deep cherry red with a violet rim. Rene Barbier Cabernet Sauvignon 1999 is richly aromatic with an intense nose of ripe plums, figs and cassis. The palate is full, powerful and rich, with lively, sweet tannins. The finish is long, showing a fine mineral character and notes of dried fruit.
