Philip Shaw's The Conductor Merlot 2009 has a bright deep purple colour, rich berry fruits complex and is layered from time in barrel with strong varietal fruit overriding the support given by the vanilla from barrel age. The mouth filling bright varietal flavours are well supported by fine fruit tannins which are highlighted by the soft mouth filling fruit.
