Nuviana Tempranillo Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 is a blend of 60% Tempranillo and 40% Cabernet that lets the characteristics of both varieties show through. Each variety is vinified separately in stainless steel. They are then blended and matured in American oak barrels 50% new and 50% second use. The aromas have all the black fruits you would expect from the Cabernet along with the spices from the Tempranillo. The palate follows on with those same fruits and subtle oak character and a good finish.
