Morandina Valpolicella Superiore 2008 is packed full of vibrant, wonderfully fresh blackberries and cherry fruit, the Superiore combines delicacy, purity and elegance with taught acidity, spice, alpine herbs and velvety tannins. There's a note that hints at vanilla but is a more sophisticated blend of oak, spices, and creme fraiche. This is such a sophisticated wine - though it is not Ripasso, just a selection of the best grapes.
Delicious with roast pork or beef, mature cheese, salami, polenta and game.
