The grapes for Monsoon Valley Blended Red 2008 are grown on floating vineyards in the Chao Phraya Delta. Blended mainly from the indigenous Pokdum grape and some Shiraz, this soft textured wine with red berry fruit is well suited to Thai cuisine. Andrew Catchpole, wine critic for the Daily Telegraph said "The Monsoon Valley Red has a perfumed fruitiness that seems to work well with spicy Thai food"
