Carmenere is a classic red grape variety from Chile. Los Almendros Fairtrade Carmenere is a dark ruby red with aromas of spice and dark berry fruits that follow through to the palate. A well balanced, medium bodied wine that has a soft mouth feel full of juicy fruit. One of the projects that the producers were involved with was to send  their staff into local schools to improve the students skills and give them a better start in life.
