Gavi La Battistina has a pale straw colour with an aromatic and zesty nose of apple, lime and kiwi. It is made from the Cortese grape, which are hand harvested. The wine stays on the lees for 3 months to extract as much flavour as possible. It has lots of citrus fruits on the palate giving it a zingy mouthwatering feel but the lees aging adds weight and complexity to the wine, making it a great wine for drinking with summer foods.
