A lovely rich and fruity Merlot from 6 year old vines with a yield of 48hl/ha. Domaine de La Garelle Merlot VDP de Vaucluse 2002 was matured in stainless steel to maintain all the fruit characteristics. It has a purplish colour with slight garnet highlights and a nose full of red fruits and blackberries with a definite smokiness. The taste is of red fruits and a hint of coffee. It has an excellent balance of alcohol and tannins which gives the wine a good overall balance.
