Garnet red with hints of purple. On the nose it is powerful and complex - raspberries, gooseberries together with plums and cherries The bouquet is at first pleasantly flowery and dominated by violets but then dried fruits come through strongly and these are repeated on the palate. The finish is rich with a touch of roasted almonds. This is a full bodied wine with soft tannins. It is supple, fresh and always inviting.
