Barolo Bussia Dardi le Rose 2006 has a typical Nebbiolo burnt sunset colour. Meaty yet floral nose - almost like a piece of beef wrapped in rose petals. Generous late summer fruit flavours with good tannic structure and a level of acidity which means that, whilst drinking now, this wine will age and improve for many years. Perfect with a big veal chop or good buttery egg pasta with shaved black truffle. Also works well with particularly rich fish dishes such as roast turbot.
