The colour is a pale green with a golden hue. Wonderful bouquet which just comes at you from the glass. Pure gooseberry, very heady. Creamy, weighty palate showing good balance of fruit and acidity. Great finish.

La Famiglia Fabiano's new Prosecco has been named after the address of the very first Fabiano wine business, Via Castello 4357, just off St Mark's Square in Venice.
It's a wonderful prosecco at a smashing price. Pale straw colour with greenish hues and a light, persistent mousse, it has a floral and delicate peach character on the nose and expressive fruit flavours on the palate.
This business, which is still run by the family (now under the custodianship of Alessandro - but still 'enjoying' the watchful eye of his father), has produced something which is the essence of Venice!
