Hopland Ranches Cabernet Sauvignon 2005
A dark ruby coloured wine with rich berry spice, currant and herbal aromas. Smooth but structured tannins on the palate lead through to a spicy lingering finish. Careful sourcing from Mendocino and Monterey areas along with 6 months barrel ageing give this wine elegance and body. An excellent accompaniment to food as well as being approachable on its own.

Hopland Ranches Chardonnay 2006
A Chardonnay with a little Colombard, this wine is sourced from Central Coast, North Coast and the Central Valley areas of California. Each area gives its own character. The Chardonnay receives some oak fermentation to add a creamy character and some woody complexity without masking the fresh bright tones of apples and exotic fruits.

La Famiglia Fabiano's new Prosecco has been named after the address of the very first Fabiano wine business, Via Castello 4357, just off St Mark's Square in Venice.
It's a wonderful prosecco at a smashing price. Pale straw colour with greenish hues and a light, persistent mousse, it has a floral and delicate peach character on the nose and expressive fruit flavours on the palate.
This business, which is still run by the family (now under the custodianship of Alessandro - but still 'enjoying' the watchful eye of his father), has produced something which is the essence of Venice!
